MPACC houses a fermentation lab for members wishing to do recombinant protein expression in E.coli or yeast systems. All work performed in this lab is at Containment Level 1 and must be covered by a current biological risk assessment approved by the Departmental Biological Safety Officer, Dr. Richard Turner (rmt35@cam.ac.uk). Inquiries regarding the fermentation and C.elegans facilities should be sent to mpacc@ch.cam.ac.uk

Our prep room technician can prepare media flasks (2xTY and LB) at £5 per flask and antibiotic specific agar plates at £1 per plate.
